Sometimes it seems that only one person cannot possibly make a difference in the world. But every positive shift that has ever occurred, happened because someone cared; someone stood up and committed to positive change, and then others followed.
Being vegan is fundamentally right on so many levels.
It is ethical to care about animals, and to avoid harming them. We require nothing from animals that is not available from plants. To continue to abuse animals is archaic and unnecessary.
It is wise to care about our personal health and of our loved ones and fellow humans. Eating a healthy plant-based diet is the best way to achieve optimal human health.
Conscious stewardship of our planet requires that we stop eating animals since animal agriculture is one of the leading causes of land degradation, water pollution and destruction of our oceans.
It only takes one to start the snowball rolling. We can each be that one. We can all join in. It starts with each of us, when we take part in these vital changes.
It is so easy to be vegan. Multitudes of resources to learn to be vegan exist, many of them available for free. We can each make good use of them, and together we can change the world.
