When it comes to intelligence, choosing to be vegan is one of the smartest things we can do.
Being vegan means a person has the capacity to look beyond only personal desires, and to consider the experience of others, including animals. Many people can relate to other people and have empathy, but it awakens a deeper intelligence when we open our minds to ideas of equality and ethics regarding animals.
Great minds care about the future of our planet. Wise people can see that the ways we currently attempt to feed the masses are ultimately unsustainable. Thankfully, intelligent solutions exist, and going vegan is one of them.
Vegans are not constrained by worrying about what others think - they know it is right to be considerate, to protect and care for the vulnerable which includes animals. Vegans will step up and defend the vulnerable because it is right, because it is mindful.
Vegans understand that human physiology indicates we thrive on plants, not animal foods. Vegans have the presence of mind to take such information and apply it successfully to adapt their diet to a healthier, more appropriate lifestyle.
